Imagine a 75-year-old walking 3 kilometers, in the afternoon just to teach a young student like me. His dedication helped me clear my entrance examination, and I will forever be grateful.

In eighth grade, I struggled with the transition from an Odia medium to an English medium school, particularly in mathematics. My father turned to Shyam Guruji, who, due to age, couldn’t teach anymore. However, he entrusted his son, Atul Sir, to help me during my Durga Puja vacation. Atul Sir’s guidance transformed my understanding of math, and I excelled in my exams from that point onwards. Once I scored good marks, I never turned back.
