Join me as we discover how positive attitude that can create a powerful ripple effect. This can help our patients to navigate their challenges with strength, resilience and hope.Cancer changes life

  •  The Life-Altering Encounter: When a person encounters Cancer, it often brings with it fear, uncertainty and a sense of depression. However, it is crucial to recognise that despite its devastating effects. A cancer diagnosis can serve as a catalyst for personal growth and transformation. I believe every patient’s journey is unique. Every individual can navigate the labyrinth of cancer treatment differently. As care givers we can deal with compassion, patience and belief in the power of positivity.
  • Shifting the Mindset: From Victim to Warrior: One of the key ways to make the change of  attitude is by shifting the mindset from that of a “victim to that of a warrior”. Cancer treatment involves not only physical challenges but also emotional and mental fatigue. By adopting a positive mindset, patients can cultivate inner strength and resilience. This can enable them to confront the disease. I emphasise on the importance of nurturing a positive outlook, which serves as a ray of light even in the darkest of times.
  • Cultivating a Supportive Environment: Building a strong support network is essential for patients facing cancer. I am a strong proponent of fostering a positive environment that comprises family, friends, and healthcare professionals. By surrounding themselves with love, empathy and encouragement, Cancer patients can draw strength and find solace during their journey.
  • Harnessing the Power of Optimism: Optimism plays a pivotal role in the battle against cancer. I usually discuss the transformative effects of a positive mindset. Numerous studies have shown that a positive outlook can improve treatment outcomes and overall quality of life. By focusing on possibilities rather than limitations. Patients can tap into their innate ability to overcome adversity.
  • The Healing Power of Mind-Body Techniques: Integrating mind-body techniques, such as meditation and relaxation exercises can be instrumental in promoting healing and well-being. I always emphasise on how these practices can help patients alleviate anxiety, manage treatment side effects and enhance their overall sense of empowerment. By incorporating these techniques into their daily routines, patients can create a harmonious balance between their physical and emotional wellbeing.  https://www.drsumandas.com/cancer-is-a-dead-end-thats-the-myth-lets-know-the-facts/
  • Celebrating Victories, Big and Small: Throughout the cancer journey, it is crucial to acknowledge and celebrate every victory, no matter how small. I encourage patients to embrace the progress they make, whether it’s completing a treatment cycle, achieving a personal milestone, or simply finding joy in the present moment. By doing so, patients can cultivate gratitude, resilience, and a renewed zest for life.

The journey of Mrs Tejaswini gives any one a strong hope to fight against the malignancy. One must come out freely with any unexpected developments with their family and best friends who will give support and strength to a victim and should not hesitate to hide. The earlier the better. When met a doctor like
Dr Suman Das the victim will get further clarity and the way he explains the problem, treatment going to be administered. He convince the patient that will give more courage to fight against the disease. Thank you Dr Sumandas ji for bringing a case history so nicely and equally appreciate Mrs Tejaswini agreeing to narrate her story of illness.
